Brenda is Director & Founder of Women’s Foundation Southwest Florida. Dorothy is Community Education Program Manager of the MicroEnterprise Institute, Goodwill SWFL.
Brenda’s experience includes:
- Community volunteer serving as President and Founder of the Women’s Foundation of Southwest Florida.
- Co-Chair of the Florida Women’s Funding Alliance, an affinity group of Florida Philanthropic Network.
- Member of Women Moving Millions.
- Member of Prosperity Together, a group of United States women’s foundations pledging to invest over $100million in women and girls over the next five years.
Dorothy has over 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector working with individuals who wish to start or expand a small business. Her key responsibilities include business development, customer support and training, both administrative and content areas related to the LaunchU program and other Kauffman Foundation programs.
The Women’s Foundation of Southwest Florida’s and Goodwill SWFL are KIVA trustees. The KIVA program offers trusted entrepreneurs the opportunity to borrow up to $10,000 with 0% interest and up to 36 months to repay. Goodwill SWFL MicroEnterprise graduates also have the opportunity to receive matching funds up to $2500.
